3. God desires.

Through scripture we learn that God desires a world of peace, equity and justice. God acts through people to make these intentions a reality in our world. We believe that God’s desires can become ours as we become more aware of God’s presence in our lives and in the world.

I am not sure about this one …
God desires …. peace, equity & justice.
I think God also desires (not commands) our ‘seeking’ these things.
The ‘Christ-in-us’ almost has no choice; we become God’s desires.
I think some scripture often contradicts God’s desire for peace, equity and justice. Jesus too was often angry so while I agree God desires peace, equity and justice–scripture lacks something for me.
